Why The Los Angeles Men's Bible Conference (LAMBC)?

 

 

In the urban community and our country as a whole, there is a void of spiritual truth. To counter this, men must strive after God; submit themselves and their ministries to the authority of God’s Word.

 

We must regain our dependence and reverence for the Word of God. The LAMBC provides a conference in the Urban Community that is biblically oriented and philosophically consistent with Scripture. Each year we consider several important areas of ministry from a scriptural standpoint to help men counter the drift from biblical authority.

 

Co-sponsors: The Los Angeles Bible Training School (LABTS) has been training leaders in the urban community for 47 years. Paul Felix has served as President since 2002. It is his desire that LABTS continue to serve the community by training those who will train others.

 

This year, LAMBC will train men by addressing the topic, What Is Truth?. We look around and see the decaying family and moral chaos in the world. Why? One reason is the lack of men and who are growing in the truth and teaching it to the next generation. Isn’t time, especially for men to know the truth of God’s word and teach it to others? Isn’t time for those who are preachers of the Word to proclaim it with clarity, consistency, and passion? Unquestionably, Yes. This year’s conference will be a call to be biblical men who are truth driven for the cause of Christ. Please join us as we hear the Word of God proclaimed and make inroads to better our churches and community
